Know Your Customer (KYC) and Identity Verification
Dada8 requires verification of identity, residence, and source of funds for all users. Verification is performed on a risk‑based basis and may be extended during the customer relationship as warranted by activity.
- Identity verification – Users must provide government‑issued identification documents (e.g., passport, national ID card, or driver's license). Documents must be valid and clearly display the user's name, date of birth, and photograph. Where applicable, copies of both sides of the document must be submitted.
- Address verification – Users must provide documents dated within the last three months showing their name and residential address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement, or official correspondence).
- Payment verification – For each payment method used to fund the account, documentation confirming ownership and control of the source may be required. Examples include:
- Card payments – copies of the front and back of the card used, showing the signature and the first six and last four digits; CVV and full magnetic stripe data must be redacted or obscured.
- Electronic wallets – screenshots showing the registered email/account number and ownership details.
- Bank transfers – a bank statement showing payer name, bank name, account number, IBAN, and BIC/Swift; where available, a deposit reference.

Initial verification must be completed prior to processing withdrawals. Ongoing due diligence is conducted on a risk‑based basis and through periodic reviews of the customer’s activity. The timelines below apply unless extended by risk assessment or regulatory requirements:
- Submission – Users provide required documents via the designated verification interface. Confirmation of receipt is provided within one business day.
- Initial review – Materials are reviewed within three business days of receipt. Additional information may be requested as needed.
- Withdrawal processing – Withdrawals may be subject to holds pending verification; processing occurs once identity, address, and payment verifications are satisfied.
- Reverification and updates – If documents expire or new information arises, updated documentation must be provided within a reasonable timeframe.
Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and risk management
For high‑risk customers or significant or unusual activity, Dada8 applies Enhanced Due Diligence. The following measures may be imposed:
- Additional documentation to verify source of funds and provenance of funds.
- Enhanced transaction monitoring with increased scrutiny and frequency.
- Additional identity verification steps as appropriate to risk level.

If any transaction or activity triggers suspicion, Dada8 will escalate through internal compliance channels and, where required, file reports with the competent regulatory or law enforcement authorities in accordance with applicable laws. Cooperation with authorities includes the provision of information necessary for investigations, subject to applicable data protection and legal privilege constraints.
Account restrictions and non‑compliance
Failure to complete KYC verifications or provide required documentation may result in temporary suspension of the account, withholding of withdrawals, or permanent restrictions. Dada8 reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or close accounts in cases of non‑cooperation, suspected fraudulent activity, or breach of terms and conditions, in compliance with applicable law.
Data subject rights and complaints
Users have rights under applicable data protection laws to access, rectify, erase, or port their personal data, and to lodge a formal complaint with the supervisory authority where appropriate. Requests should be submitted through the designated support channel and will be processed in accordance with regulatory timeframes.
Governing law and licensing
